0:00 What I want patients to know about me when they walk in the door is that I’m relatable. I’m a person just like they are. Probably has gone through struggles and hardships just like they have. And really, I’m not here to judge them, I’m just here to listen. Hi, my name is Alexandra Aponte, and I’m the owner of aqua springs Dental. When I started Aqua springs Dental, my vision was just to create a safe place. I know a lot of times patients haven’t had the best experiences in the past, perhaps in their dental life, or even in their life. So coming in here, I wanted to create a place where people felt like they could just be open. Ultimately, we can’t convince anybody to do anything, but we are here to create that connection with them and give them the information so they have that knowledge to make the best decisions for themselves and for their family. Our goal here is to educate. As I said, we are very objective with our findings. We show patients what we see, what could happen and what would happen if they don’t do anything about it. What allows us to stand out at Aqua springs Dental is we’re a local practice, family owned and operated. We are a team of dynamic women who are very relatable. Most of us are mothers, so we can relate to many patients in that regard who are often caring for other members of the family. Once they’re here, the office translates into this warm atmosphere that’s been carefully curated by myself and the team has helped put this place together so that when patients walk in, they feel like they’re in a place that’s not a standard kind of clinical space.

My name is Dr Khaled, and I’m a dentist here at Aqua springs Dental, I decided to join Aqua springs dental after meeting with Dr Aponte and having a conversation about our philosophies when it comes to treating patients, I realize that we’re very much similar and aligned, because patient care and patient experiences of utmost importance to both of us. Our approach here at Aqua Springs is heavily based on education. I think it’s important for the patient to know not only what treatment is recommended, but why. I think when a patient understands all the parameters surrounding their treatment, they’re much more likely to make different choices down the line and help to prevent dental disease from occurring. What’s so special about working with the team here at Aqua springs Dental is just how much each and every person on this team truly cares about our patients. Everyone shows up every morning to do the best they can, and they really treat our patients like family. At Aqua Springs, We’re not only here to serve your dental needs. We’re also a part of the San Marcus community, from backpack drives to serving those who are less fortunate. We want to make sure that you can consider us your dental home.
